WOW Festival in association with UK Jazz Plus sessions present this very special opportunity to catch a powerhouse bill of artists from the growing genre of UK Jazz Singer songwriters in a spectacular free gig.
Dynamic, engaging and re-defining what it means to be a jazz singer today, homegrown Jazz Singer Songwriters from diverse ethnic groups are conveying their cultural influences and creating a new hybrid space between jazz, RnB, hip hop, avant-garde and indie.

Miss Baby Sol – WOW’s first ever WOW Sounds Artist in Residence – has worked with many artists including Paloma Faith, Laura Mvula, Florence and the Machine and the Noisettes. Now taking centre stage with her jaw droppingly impressive performances, Miss Baby Sol is creating a storm with unique delivery and song writing at its centre.
Emily Saunders, dubbed “UK’s queen of jazz-fusion” is a socially-conscious wordsmith and supremely talented songwriter. Internationally renowned, Emily balances virtuosity and musicianship of the highest order, “Absolutely Brilliant” Jamie Cullum. Emily’s albums have sold worldwide, with multiple four-star reviews including the Evening Standard, The Guardian, The Independent, The Daily Telegraph.
Martha D Lewis (pictured above), an established British born Cypriot composer, Jazz and World singer-songwriter and broadcaster whose recent record release tackles social commentary in a lyrically relevant and musically adventurous 6th album. The Guardian reviewed Martha as a “distinctly live wire of musical independence and a formidable voice.”
Sacha T,South London emerging singer songwriter with uplifting lyrical storytelling to evoke a sense of positivity and possibility. Her latest single Sunshine In My Pocket landed Sasha on BBC Radio 4 show Loose Ends and was played on BBC 1Xtra and BBC Introducing. One to watch out for!
